cinadanni24 You Live and You Learn Nov 2, 2008 3:42 PM The past year has been sort of a roll-a-coaster, I have made some bad choices in the past but damn. I met my ex-boyfriend around Aug of last year. The first night I met him there were signs that said " NO NO NO LET HIM BE" & "PLEASE IGNORE" but did I. I fell for the "You have some pretty eyes" and the hilarious jokes he made throughout the nite. All in the same month my mom and I had to move out of our apartment, so I was forced to stay over my cousins house in the same neighborhood where my ex hung out at. So months went by and we became a couple (UGH), I had to find an apartment so that I could get the hell out of my cousins house, I couldn't take not having my own space and no peace of mind. So I went out and searched for a place, my ex and I moved in together....why the hell did i do that. It's been hell every since then. I am searching for another place and I will never move in with another guy ever...unless it's my husband...of course! You live and you learn! Peace
ayuninur When will China products be safe? Sep 24, 2008 11:11 PM Channel NewsAsia - Thursday, September 25 SINGAPORE: Five more China—made food products sold in Singapore have been detected to contain the industrial chemical melamine. ADVERTISEMENT Two are flavoured milk and three are confectionaries containing milk powder as an ingredient. They are: Dutch Lady Banana Flavoured Milk; Dutch Lady Honeydew Flavoured Milk; Silang — House of Steamed Potato — Potato Cracker; Puffed Rice Rolls — Butter Corn Flavour; and Puffed Rice Rolls — Cheese Flavour. The latest findings bring the total number of affected products to eight. The other products that were earlier found to be contaminated with melamine are Yi Li Choice Dairy Fruit Bar Yogurt Flavoured Ice Confection; Dutch Lady Strawberry Flavoured Milk; and White Rabbit Creamy Candy. The Agri—Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) says the public need not be unduly concerned as it has suspended the import and sale of all milk and milk products from China since 19 September. AVA also says only low levels of melamine were detected in the affected products. Consumers have to consume large quantities of the contaminated products over a prolonged period of time to have any potential ill effects on health. For example, an adult weighing 60kg needs to eat 13 packs of Silang House Steamed Potato crackers daily for an entire lifetime to be affected by melamine contamination. Similarly, a child weighing 30kg will need to eat six—and—a—half packs of the potato crackers for the ill effects of melamine to take root. For enquiries on affected products, consumers can call AVA’s hotline at 63257625 during office hours (8.30am—6pm, Monday—Friday). For health concerns associated with the ingestion of melamine, consumers can call Ministry of Health’s hotline at 1800—2254122. Consumers can also visit AVA’s website for more information. — AFP/ir http://sg.news.yahoo.com/cna/20080925/tap-140-5-china-made-products-tainted-me-231650b.html We have heard and seen enough of China's unsafe edible products and those unethical or unprofessional acts in order to make profits out of them at the risk of people's life. The most recent case is of course the milk powder scare which 4 babies have been killed and 53,000 babies fell sick. When will the people in China wake up and clean up their acts?

ayuninur Is PMS An Excuse? Jun 12, 2008 10:42 PM Once a month the beautiful, caring, compassionate, easy-going love of your life sprouts a pair of horns, grows some fangs and makes your life a living hell. From tear-filled crying fits to bouts of extreme anger, PMS has been touted as the culprit for her monthly episodes of erratic behavior. Is PMS really an excuse for a woman's temperamental behavior, though? At least one Canadian woman thinks so; she cited PMS as the reason for her shoplifting splurge -- an excuse that was happily gobbled up by the judge, who handed the woman an absolute discharge. Is PMS a legitimate excuse for women's emotional outbursts and erratic behavior? Or is PMS simply a myth that women fall back on to excuse their looniness?
j2e1n9 Group Projects Jun 3, 2008 6:15 AM I'm so pissed off because the people in my group for my accounting class dont seem to understand that I cannot spend 3 hours every night going over our homework. I have things to do, dont they have lives? I have dogs to take care of and people to make dinner for, a house to clean, and a shower to take so I can get ready for work the next day. Either we know the information or we dont, we're not going to help the situation by sitting there arguing for hours. Its like the blind leading the blind. Why cant we just make a list of questions to ask the professor in class. Such a waste of time! Get a life people!
